4.3.1 BIST at Start-up

The BIST can be configured to automatically run on a POR-type Reset, as shown in Figure   1. By default, when BISTDIS (FPOR[6]) = 1, the BIST is disabled and will not be part of device start-up. If the BISTDIS bit is cleared during device programming, the BIST will run after all Configuration registers have been loaded and before code execution begins.
