3.4.2.1 USB Port A

On this board, the USB-A port can only act as a USB device interface and can be accessed via the USB Type-C® connector (J1).

The USB-A port features a USB Type-C controller MCP22350 for CC pin management and power role detection.

The USB-A port is used as a power source, as mentioned in USB Supply Input. In most cases, this port is limited to 500 mA.
