1.5 USB Module

The MCP2222 includes a full-speed USB 2.0 compliant USB interface. It implements the CDC, ACM and Vendor USB classes.

The MCP2222 enumerates as a composite USB device and supports the following interfaces:

CDC-ACM class interface: Provides USB-to-UART communication
Vendor class interface: Provides USB-to-I²C communication, USB-to-SPI communication, GPIO control, and device configuration

The device also supports:

Configurable VID and PID assignments
Configurable string descriptors
Bus-powered or self-powered operation
