3.4.1 UART Settings

UART settings include:

  • Baud rate
  • Number of stop bits
  • Parity
  • Data width

These settings are not stored in NVM. Each time CDC communication is set up, the UART settings are sent by the USB host using the Set_Line_Coding command.

In addition to the above settings, hardware flow control can also be enabled by configuring the IO0 and IO1 pins as CTS and RTS pins.
