24.4.10 Register Write Protection
To prevent any single software error from corrupting SYSC behavior, certain registers in the address space can be write-protected by setting the WPEN bit in the ”System Controller Write Protection Mode Register” (SYSC_WPMR).
The following registers can be write-protected:
- The RSTC Mode register(1)
- The RTT Mode register(2)
- The RTT Alarm register(2)
- The RTC Control register(3)
- The RTC Mode register(3)
- The RTC Time Alarm register(3)
- The RTC Calendar Alarm register(3)
- The General Purpose Backup registers(4)
- The Supply Controller Control Register
- The Supply Controller Supply Monitor Mode Register
- The Supply Controller Mode Register
- The Supply Controller Wakeup Mode Register
