4.1.8 PRBS Generator and Checker
(Ask a Question)The generator implements the PRBS polynomial and generates a continuous sequence of PRBS7 patterns of 40 bits each. The PRBS checker receives data from the transceiver to generate PRBS data locally and then the received data from both checker and generator are compared for data integrity. A lock signal is asserted if there is a data match otherwise, an error signal is asserted.
