3.4.8.3.1 Set Up the Warrant File

Before starting the key export, make sure to copy the HSM module warrant file from nCipher into the Tools directory. This file contains a cryptogram that identifies the origin of the HSM module. The file name follows the format warrant‑[ESN].txt, where ESN is the module serial number that can be printed using the nfkminfo utility. The following is an example of the warrant file copied into the Tools directory:
