4.2 Downloading the Example Code

Once a device and development tool have been selected, example code can be found at MPLAB Discover.

Filter for examples:

• Under Name, enter getting started with gpio.
• Under Device, enter avr128da48.

For this tutorial, select Getting Started with GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) by clicking on the name (see figure below).

The page that opens contains information about the example code (see figure below). There is a link to a Technical Brief (TB3229) as well. To download all example code, click the Download button in the top right. A zip file containing the code will download to your computer. Unzip the files into your MPLABXProjects folder.
