74.7.14 Analog Comparator Characteristics
The Analog Comparator features a built-in hysteresis voltage that applies on positive-going differential voltages. The following definitions are used to list the comparator specifications:
- VIND = (VINP - VINN) is the differential input voltage
- VIT+ is the input threshold for a positive-going differential voltage
- VIT- is the input threshold for a negative-going differential voltage
Symbol | Parameter | Conditions | Min | Max | Unit |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
VVDDIN33 | Supply voltage range (VDDIN33)(1) | – | 3.0 | 3.6 | V |
IDDIN33 | Current consumption (VDDIN33)(2) | – | – | 80 | µA |
tSTART | Start-up time(2) | – | – | 5 | µs |
tPD | Propagation delay(2)(3) | – | – | 200 | ns |
VCM | Common mode input range | On negative and positive inputs | 0.25 | 2.25 | V |
VOS | Input offset voltage(2) | Applies to positive-going VIND | -10 | 10 | mV |
VHYST | Hysteresis voltage(2)(4) | – | – | 40 | mV |
Note:
- The analog comparator is powered by the VDDOUT25 regulator, which is supplied from VDDIN33.
- Simulation data
- Measured with 100 mV threshold overload
- VHYST = (VIT+ - VIT-)
