3.10.1 User LED (D5)
The PIC32WM-BW1 Curiosity Board provides one user-programmable user LED (D5) (blue indicator LED), and the user can turn this LED ON or OFF using the connected GPIO pin PB7. Drive the pin to a high level to turn OFF the LED and drive the pin to a low level to turn ON the LED.
Important: PB7 also functions as an SWO
pin on the PIC32WM-BW1 Module. During a programming/debug
session with MPLAB® X IDE, this pin is always driven low by the PIC32WM-BW1 Module, thus, causing the user LED (D5) to turn ON
during the entire debug session. When the debug session is exited, this pin resumes normal
operation.
