9.16.1 Loopback Test

The console software supports all JTAG functions and a diagnostic loopback test. Note that loopback is not supported on all boards.

To perform the diagnostic test

1. Connect the loopback test board to the FlashPro®.
2. Connect the FlashPro to the parallel/USB port of the PC.
3. Power-on the FlashPro.
   1. From the Start menu, choose Programs > Actel FlashPro > Diagnotics. This opens the diagnostics console program.
   2. Connect to the FlashPro by entering openport lpt1 or openport usb. The parallel port number depends on the port used to connect the FlashPro.
4. Enter test. The unit runs into self-test mode. Do not interrupt the unit during self-test mode.
