21 Introduction

SmartTime is a gate-level static timing analysis tool for the IGLOO®, ProASIC® 3, SmartFusion®, Fusion™, ProASIC^PLUS®, ProASIC, Axcelerator, eX, and SX-A families. SmartTime allows to perform a complete timing analysis of the design. This ensure that the design meets all timing constraints and operates at the desired speed with the appropriate margin across all operating conditions.
