14.1.1 Temperature Sensor

The ADC channel, AN20, is connected to a forward-biased diode. It can be used to measure a die temperature. This diode provides a voltage output that can be monitored by the ADC.

The temperature coefficient is listed in Table 34-33 in Electrical Characteristics. To get the exact gain and offset numbers, the two temperature points’ calibration is recommended.
