8.3 Standard Operating Conditions

For all other device characteristics to be valid, the device must operate within the ratings listed in this section.

VDD - Operating Supply Voltage(1)
Industrial temperatureVDD (3.3V)+3.135 to +3.465V
VDD (5.0V)+4.75 to +5.25V

VUSB - SupplyVoltage for the USB Transceiver(1,3)
Industrial temperatureVUSB+3.3V
VBUS - Voltage for detecting whether the device is on USB Bus or not(1)
Industrial temperatureVBUSMIN+2.85V
VBUSMAX+3.15V
fUSB - USB Input Clock Frequency
Industrial temperaturefUSBMIN47.88MHz
fUSBMAX48.12MHz
CVUSB - External Capacitor Value on VUSB(2)
Industrial temperatureCVUSB470nF
TA - Operating Ambient Temperature Range
TA_MIN-40°C
TA_MAX+85°C
Note:
  1. Refer to the Supply Voltage parameter in the Supply Voltage section.
  2. Use a ceramic or film capacitor to ensure a sufficiently low ESR between 0.5Ω and 4.0Ω.
  3. When 3.9V ≤ VDD ≤ 5.25V, the internal USB regulator is ON, and the VUSB pin must be connected to an external capacitor (CVUSB). When 3.135V ≤ VDD < 3.9V, 3.3V must be provided externally on the VUSB pin.
