11.2.2 Instructions for DC Connection

  1. Verify that the external DC Power Supply (PS) is within the limits (see Table 17-3).
  2. Connect the DC supply positive wire to the live (+) terminal and tighten the screw.
  3. Connect the DC supply return ground wire to the neutral (-) terminal and tighten the screw.
  4. If the DC supply has earth ground connection, connect it to the ground terminal and tighten the screw.
  5. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Use electrical tape to cover any exposed wire ends.
  6. Once everything is connected and secured, turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker.
  7. Plug the power cable into an DC mains power source. Note that there is no ON or OFF switch.
