The following actions can be selected by right clicking tools in the Available Tools view:
The preselected tool opens the Device Programming window. | |
Some tools are capable of performing a self-test. Follow the displayed instructions. | |
Adds a tool to the list of available tools that are not auto-detectable. See Add a Non-Detectable Tool for more information. | |
Starts the firmware upgrade tool with the selected tool. | |
Shows the Tool Info window. Not all tools support this feature. See Tool Info Window for more information. | |
Open a dialogue to set the MPLAB® PICkit or Snap tool in AVR or PIC mode. However, Microchip Studio will automatically enable the tool in AVR mode when it communicates with the debugger. If required, use this option to force the tool into a given mode. |
