12.10 Check Receive Buffer Interval

The check receive buffer interval parameter represents the interval or rate at which the IS187x device checks the internal UART receive buffer for data. For most applications, the default values or intervals listed in the following table sufficiently meet the operating requirements. However, it is possible to change the frequency of the UART receive buffer check operation. The baud rate at which the UART is running must be taken into consideration when determining if there is a need for adjusting this value. For more details on changing the UART baud rate, refer to HCI UART Baud Rate.
Note: If the check receive buffer interval parameter is not active, it means the IS187x device is not actively operating because of Low-power mode or Shutdown mode.
