12.9 UART Transmit Indication (UART_TX_IND)

The UART Transmit Indication (UART_TX_IND) parameter represents the waiting time of the IS187x device after driving the UART_TX_IND signal but before sending data over the UART to the external host MCU. For an overview of how an external host MCU can use this behavior, refer to the BM70/71 Bluetooth® Low Energy Module User’s Guide (DS50002542).

A non-zero value enables the UART_TX_IND parameter and allows the IS187x device to drive the UART_TX_IND signal. After enabling, fix the UART_TX_IND parameter to GPIO pin P2_7 of the module.

A value of zero disables the use of the UART_TX_IND parameter and effectively disables the use of the UART_TX_IND signal on GPIO pin P2_7.
