(Ask a Question)The transmit PLLs reference clock and output clock are set to 156.25 MHz and 5000 Mbps, respectively. The PolarFire transceiver is a half-rate architecture, that is, the internal high-speed path that uses both edges of the clock to keep the clock rates down. Therefore, the clock runs at half the data rate, consuming less dynamic power.
