9.3.7 FlashPro® and the 1532 File Format
IEEE 1532 is an industry‑standard file format used to describe JTAG operations. Like STAPL files, IEEE 1532 files are used to describe the in‑system programming algorithms for IGLOO®, ProASIC3, SmartFusion®, and Fusion family devices.
When IEEE 1532 programming files are generated, two files are created (*.isc and *.bsd) within a folder named: <Programming File Name>_1532.
The *.bsd file contains the IEEE 1532 programming algorithm. The *.isc file contains the programming data that is written to the device.
IEEE 1532 programming files are exported in FlashPro only for SmartFusion devices when an FDB file has been properly imported.
