9.3.6 Function
(Ask a Question)The function name identifies the functions of the pin/port. This is the same as what is listed in the Public Pin Assignment Table (PPAT) for the selected device and package. For details, see the device data sheet of the die/package.
The function name may contain the following information:
- Type of I/O: GPIO or HSIO
- Special-purpose I/Os (for example, XCVR)
- The I/O Bank Number
- Positive/Negative Pad of differential I/Os
- VSS or Ground
