3.10.12.4 Signature Bytes
All microcontrollers have a 3-byte signature code that identifies the device. This code can be read in both HVSP and ISP mode, even when the device is locked.
The three signature bytes reside in a separate address space called the device signature imprint table. The signature data for the ATA8510/15 are:
