1.3.11.1 Conversion Time Calculation

The conversion time is a sum of:

T_conv = T_{sync_read} + t_sample + -t_distrib +t_cal +t_{sync_write}

T_{sync_read} = T_{sync_write} = synchronization time = sys_clk

T_{acquisition_hold} = T_sample + (T_{prescaler_settling} or T_strobe) = ( 2 + stc ) * adc_clk

The stc is a factor of the user’s acquisition and hold time.

T_distrib = charge distribution time = adc_resolution * adc_clock

T_cal = calibration time = 2 * adc_clk
