12.4.2 Link Manager Version Parameter

The link manager version parameter indicates to the IS187x IC chip whether to use the protocols and procedures available in Bluetooth core specification 4.0 or Bluetooth core specification 4.2. If this parameter is set to Bluetooth core specification 4.0, ignore all other parameters related to Bluetooth core specification 4.2 (see Table 12-4). For more details, refer to the Bluetooth Core Specification (4.2) and the Bluetooth Core Specification (4.0). The following table provides details about the possible values of this parameter.
