13.1.1 Temperature Sensor

The ADC channel, AN20, is connected to a forward-biased diode. It can be used to measure die temperature. This diode provides a voltage output that can be monitored by the ADC.

The temperature coefficient is listed in Table 30-32 in Electrical Characteristics. To get the exact gain and offset numbers, calibration at two temperature points is recommended.
