2.2.2.6 RSSI Configuration

RSSI measurements can be used as start of telegram and end of telegram conditions in receive mode. The corresponding threshold values are located in the SRAM variable rssiThresholds. The low threshold parameter (RSSL) is initialized with “0x00” and the high threshold parameter (RSSH) with “0xFF” for each service/channel configuration during system start-up. This opens up a maximum window. For each application that applies the RSSI measurement as an SOT or EOT condition, the thresholds must be overwritten with meaningful values using SPI or user software, see RSSI Measurement.
