2.2.3 Direct Digital Input

The Direct Digital Input option allows unused analog channels or peripherals to be configured as digital inputs. When using this option, you specify the input and output signal names and add the digital inputs to the sampling sequence. The digital input supports voltage levels of up to 12 V and operates at a maximum frequency of 10 MHz.

The typical propagation delay for a Direct Digital Input is approximately 10 ns.
