2.1.25 Analog System Builder with Real Time Counter (RTC)

When the RTC is used in the Analog System Builder (ASB), an additional RTCCLK port is exposed on the ASB core and must be connected correctly.

The RTCCLK port must be driven by the CLKOUT output of the XTLOSC macro. In addition, the RTCXTLSEL and RTCXTLMODE signals must be connected from the ASB module to the XTLOSC module to ensure proper RTC operation.

The following figure illustrates required connections for using the RTL with the ASB.
