2.1.8 ASB Advanced Options - Calibration
Analog systems typically require calibration of the analog inputs to achieve more accurate measurements to account for any drift in the manufacturing process. The Analog System Core enables you to include a Calibration IP block to perform this function.
The calibration IP implements a two‑point calibration scheme using the formula:
Y = M × X + C
where:
- M is the gain,
- X is the converted analog value, and
- C is the offset.
Enabling calibration modifies the default internal analog system connectivity and generates additional output files. For more information, see the ASB connectivity and Calibration section.
