2.1.16 ASB Advanced Options - ACM Bus

This option provides access to the Analog Configuration multiplexer (ACM) address and data signals, allowing user logic to update counter and match‑register values. The ACM address bus is shared by the analog system. If an incorrect address is accessed, the analog system configuration may be overwritten.

When this option is enabled, the ACM bus interface is exposed, allowing users to read from and write to ACM registers. For recommended connectivity when using the ACM bus, see the Designing with Analog System Builder section.

Two methods are available for accessing the ACM bus:

  • Independent access
  • Access as part of the INIT/CFG interface
