2.2.14.2 State

The State setting defines whether the content of a FlashROM region can be changed during programming.

Fixed
Fixes the data so that it cannot be modified during programming. This option is appropriate for data that must remain constant for correct FPGA operation, such as secure key storage.
Modifiable
Indicates that the data in the region is expected to remain static for long periods but may change in the future. An example is a version number that typically remains the same across many programming cycles but may be updated occasionally. This option allows the region to be identified as modifiable so that the value does not need to be re‑entered each time new data is programmed elsewhere.
