2.1.23.5 Real Time Counter (RTC) Clock

The RTC clock defines the operating frequency of the RTC logic on the device. This logic is modeled within the AB library macro.

The RTC clock is exposed by the Analog System Builder when the RTC peripheral is configured within the tool (that is, when the RTC is not configured externally). When exposed, this port must be connected to the CLKOUT output of the XTLOSC macro, if used. Otherwise, the RTC clock input must be tied to ground.

The RTC clock is independent of all other clocks described in this document.
