2.1.7.3 ADC Only
This configuration instantiates only the analog block model. It omits the data-processing logic, sequence controller, and the ADC management features. When using this configuration, you must fully manage the ADC and all related AB functionality.
This option disables the following functionality:
- Sequencing (Sequencer dialog box).
- Flag generation for peripherals (peripheral flag grid).
- Data averaging (Digital Filtering Factor and Initial Averaging Value).
- Analog sample sequence controller (ASSC) RAM access.
- Sample monitor and evaluation block (SMEV) RAM access.
- SMEV status access.
- The ability to specify an external resistor for the Current Monitor.
Because the ASSC is not instantiated, you must also manually manage the following ADC features:
- ADC clock divider (derived from the system clock frequency).
- ADC resolution (configured using the resolution control on the main window).
- Acquisition time for peripherals (configured individually for each peripheral).
This configuration generates ACM memory files.
