5.42 Write Resume (RES)

The Write Resume command restarts a previously suspended write operation and clears the status by setting the corresponding bit in Status Register 1 back to 0.

To execute a Write Resume operation, the host drives CE# low, issues the RES command (7AH) in SPI mode or QPI mode, and then drives CE# high. Completion of the internally self‑timed write operation can be determined by polling the BUSY bit in Status Register 1 or by waiting for the specified timing parameter—TSE for Sector Erase, TBE, for Block Erase, or TPP for Page Program operations. The cumulative write time, including both the period before suspension and after resumption, does not exceed the maximum uninterrupted write times specified for TSE, TBE_32KB/64KB,, or TPP.
