5.40 Write Suspend During Sector Erase or Block Erase
Issuing a Write Suspend (75H) instruction during a Sector Erase or Block Erase operation allows the host to program or read data from any sector that is not currently being erased. A minimum delay of TSUS (22 μs) is required between issuing the Write Suspend command and the next command.
Programming commands that target the suspended sector(s) are not ignored by the device; however, it is recommended that the programming commands not be issued to the suspended sector(s).
Any attempt to read data from the suspended sector(s) returns undefined data, as the erase operation for those sectors is incomplete.
