5.68 Write Extended Address Register (WEAR)

The Write Extended Address Register (WEAR) command writes new values into the Extended Address register. This command is supported in both SPI mode and QPI modes.

To execute a WEAR operation, the host drives CE# low, sends the command cycle (C5H or 56H) in SPI or QPI mode, and transmits one data byte to be programmed, and then drives CE# high.
