5.59 Write Suspend During Sector Erase or Block Erase

Issuing a Write Suspend (75H) instruction during a Sector Erase or Block Erase operation allows the host to program or read data from any sector that is not currently undergoing an erase operation. A minimum delay of T_SUS (22 μs) must be observed between issuing the Write Suspend command and transmitting the next command.

Programming commands directed to the suspended sector(s) are not ignored by the device; however, issuing program commands to suspended sector(s) is not recommended.

Any read operation targeting a suspended sector returns undefined data because the erase operation for that sector has not yet completed.
