5.61 Write Resume (RES)

The Write Resume command restarts a previously suspended write operation and clears the suspend status by resetting the corresponding status bit in Status Register 1 to 0.

To execute a Write Resume operation, the host drives CE# low, issues the RES command (7AH) in SPI or QPI mode, and then drives CE# high. Completion of the internally timed write operation can be verified by polling the Busy bit in Status Register 1 or by waiting for the applicable timing parameter: TSE for Sector Erase, TBE for Block Erase or TPP for Page Program operations.

The total write duration, including both the time elapsed before suspension and the time after resumption, does not exceed the maximum uninterrupted write times specified for TSE, TBE_32KB/64KB or TPP.
