5.8.5 SEC and DED
The SEC (Single Error Correction) and DED (Double Error Detection) status bits indicate the ECC results of the most recent read operation. The SEC and DED bits are automatically cleared to
0 when the device accepts a new Read command (see Table 5-10).| SED, DED | Name and Function |

1,0 | SEC events occurred in one or more 16-byte blocks, and the corrected data are valid for use. |
0,1 | DED events occurred in one or more 16-byte blocks, and the data contain two or more bit errors. |
1,1 | Both SEC and DED events occurred in multiple 16-byte blocks, and the data contain two or more bit errors. |
