5.6.1 Busy
The Busy bit is a read-only status bit that indicates whether an internal erase or program operation is in progress, including operations on the memory array, security registers, or nonvolatile status register values. When the BUSY bit is set to 1, the device is performing an internal erase or program operation, including operations on the memory array, security registers, or nonvolatile status register values. When the BUSY bit is set to 0, no such erase operation is in progress.
