5.7.12 Address Mode at Power-Up (ADP)

The Address Power-Up (ADP) bit is a nonvolatile writable bit that determines the initial address mode after power-up or reset. This bit is used only during the device power-up or reset initialization sequence. When ADP = 0 (factory default), the device powers up in 3-byte address mode. In this mode, the Extended Address register must be used to access memory regions beyond 128 Mb. When ADP = 1, the device powers up directly in 4-byte address mode.
